These cute butterfly snack packs were one of the contributions to Kenzie’s spring party. I wanted healthy options to add to our food table, and this cute way to hold grapes was exactly what we needed. I saw the idea at Juggling with Kids. I decided to do all grapes rather than goldfish and grapes like she did. We were getting our carbs for the meal elsewhere. I love how she had her kids painting the clothes pin, but I used Washi tape for mine. You’ll need Washi tape, google eyes, pipe cleaner, hot glue, clothes pins, grapes and a baggie.
You will take your decorative tape and lay your clothes pin down on the tape. Using an Exacto knife, cut around the edge of the clothes pin.
Repeat this process until all of your clothes pins are covered. You could stop here if you didn’t want to do the butterflies. These would be so cute if you put a magnet on the back and hung them on the refrigerator. They could be decorated like this for a whole variety of reasons.
It’s now time to add the google eyes and pipe cleaners with hot glue. I did the google eyes on the front and then cut the antennas to length, bent them, curled the ends and hot glued them on the back.
Isn’t this a fun addition to our spring party?
I saved the clothes pin for the craft we had planned for the party. What craft? Our coffee filter, tie dye butterfly craft, of course.

Oh, my goodness, this is so cute! I actually saw some Jelly Bean Butterflies that were a little bit like this (but they just used paper with the jelly beans glued on for the wings). I like this better, though! 🙂
Thank you so much. It’s great because it’s a healthy snack too. It was super easy to make! I appreciate your comments.
