Day #182 Tip- Make Your Child Laugh

June 30, 2012 · by jodidurr · 1 Comment

I thought this would be a fun tip for today. Do it next time you are interacting with your child. Tickle them, make a joke, do something silly. Just make them laugh. Laughter has proven to be good for your physical and emotional health. We adults can get too serious about things. I have certain ways I know I can get my kids to laugh when they might have a hurt. Often times I’ll just grab them and start tickling. The entire mood of the day can change in that one simple action. My dad used humor a lot in raising me. I really responded to that. If we get too caught up in some of the emotion our kids throw at us, we don’t let our humor neutralize a situation. Just make your kids laugh today.
