This was a really great craft I found on Pinterest originating from The Chocolate Muffin Tree. It was such a simple but graphic craft, and I knew my kids would really enjoy it.
The simplicity of this craft is a big part of it’s beauty. Learning about the meaning behind the shamrock symbol yesterday, made this craft much more meaningful to us. All you will need is an apple cut in half (make sure the apple is cut very flat or you will have to rock it back and forth to get it to print), a piece of paper (we used yellow), green paint, a paint brush or paint sponge and a paper plate to use as your pallet. Paint the apple with a thick coat of poster paint and print. In the end, the girls painted on their own stem.
What a fantastic idea! Maybe we’ll do this when the kids are on break!
I hope you do. My kids had a lot of fun with it, and I think your kids would too.
Wonderful idea!!

Great cake there. Thanks for commenting.
Super cute idea and I have some apples just waiting to be used as paint brushes/sponges. They aren’t too tasty, so this is a great use!
I had forgotten to bag up a half used Apple from the day before. That’s what we use. It works great. Have fun with it.
This is so cute!!!
Thanks so much.
Wonderful idea. Visited via free pretty things for you.
