Ingredients

  • 2 Jimmy Dean Regular Sausage
  • 6 whole English Muffins
  • 1 pound Jack Cheese
  • 8-16 oz Sauteed Mushrooms - optional amount is based on preference
  • 2 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp dry mustard
  • salt and peper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage and crumble.
  2. Cube the english muffins.
  3. Layer 1/2 of the bread, 1/2 of the sausage, 1/2 of the mushrooms (if used), and 1/2 of the cheese in a 9×13 pan.
  4. Repeat layering.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over the layers.
  6. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
  7. Heat oven to 325.
  8. Before baking, spread 1 can cream of mushroom soup diluted with 1/3 can milk.
  9. Bake for at one hour or until firm.
