  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp taco seasoning or 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 cans Mexican stewed tomatoes

  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • crushed tortilla chips

Instructions

How to Make Easy and Inexpensive Tex-Mex Dump Soup

  • In a large soup pot, saute 1 pound ground hamburger and the chopped yellow onion until hamburger is browned. Drain.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Stir and heat on medium-high heat until heated through.
  • Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and crushed tortilla chips. These components add a lot to the soup. Squeezing a fresh lime over top is also fabulous.
