In a 9" x 13" pan defrost Rhode's frozen dinner rolls according to package directions. For the regular method, which takes 3-5 hours, spray your pan with cooking spray. Then, cover with plastic wrap, sprayed on the inside with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Let rise 3-5 hours or until doubled in size.
Heat one inch oil in large cooking pan to 365-375 degrees.
Once oil is heated, stretch out dough to roughly a 6-7 inch circle.
Lay dough into heated oil. I could fit 3 elephant ears in my 11" pan.
While dough is cooking, press lightly with tongs to cover completely in oil. Once edges start to look golden, flip the elephant ear.
Cook until golden brown on each side. Place on a paper towel to drain.
Brush melted butter onto the elephant ear and your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
