Preheat oven to 350.
Heat a heavy cast iron skillet on medium-high heat and cook bacon until done.
Place bacon on a paper-towel lined plate to cool slightly and then crumble. Leave a small amount of those nice bacon drippings in the pan.
Beat eggs, half and half, butter, onion powder, dried mustard, salt and pepper until light and fluffy.
Stir bacon and cheese into the egg mixture.
Put mixture in the pan with your bacon grease.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Check in the center with a knife to make sure it comes out clean and is fully cooked.
