Set a small amount of the parmesan aside to serve. Place the spinach, Parmesan, almonds, olive oil, and a couple of spoonfuls of water in the bowl of a blender. Whisk the contents of the bowl until smooth. Mix this mixture into the pasta.
Arrange the Christmas spaghetti bolognese on plates. To form a Christmas tree, wrap some spaghetti around the palm of your hand - this is the first tier of the Christmas tree. The next tier of spaghetti wrapped around four fingers. Follow with 3 fingers for the third layer and two for the last.
