My husband’s office has a projector that we are allowed to borrow. Friday nights, for us, are generally pizza and movie nights. Something I really enjoy is when we my husband brings the projector home, and we are able to watch movies on the ceiling. Our main living room is like an A Frame, so we have the perfect angle. We push the couches together, cuddle up and enjoy the flick. It’s still a tad chaotic with Corban having no interest in the film and Kenzie’s interest waivering. I do look forward to a few years down the road when we can all just sit like normal people and watch a movie together. Until then, we make the best of it. Movies on the ceiling definitely helps.

That is *such* fun! We have a projector … of course, we live in an RV, so the ceiling isn’t the optimal screen, but over at the pavilion it might be kind of fun to have a big movie night! Thanks for a great idea!! 🙂
With RV’s I’ve seen people hang sheets on the outside and project against the side. That might be fun.
I’m wanting to do this but I wonder what the quality is like if my ceiling has pine tongue and groove and the knots in the pine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm… interesting dilemma. If you wanted to get a ladder out, you could try attaching a sheet to the ceiling with Command Strips clips https://amzn.to/3QXG0BP (affiliate link). I don’t know if getting an inexpensive screen with the grommets on the edges would make it easier to attach: https://amzn.to/4fbGjAP (affiliate link). Might end up being more complicated than it’s worth. Other than that, I’m not sure I have any brilliant ideas.
