I am always surprised when someone says they don’t like eggnog. I have always loved eggnog. I then started to pay attention. Everyone just pours eggnog straight from the container and drinks it like that. Tried it. I see why you are not a fan. I grew up drinking it a different way, which why I am bringing you the best way to prepare eggnog, in my humble opinion. It’s simple. It doesn’t cost more or make you exert much effort, but it vastly improves the experience. If you love the flavor of eggnog, I also think you will absolutely love my eggnog sandwich cookies.
This recipe is so simple, that I’m almost a little embarrassed sharing it. However, I don’t think I’ve found one person who grew up drinking it the same way. Further, everyone who has tried this version of eggnog really likes it. Therefore, it only made sense to pass it along to you. The secret? Add ice and put it in a blender. Add ice and put nut meg on top. It’s as simple as that. Don’t be deceived by the martini glass presentation. I just thought it was pretty. However, this is a non-alcoholic eggnog drink and therefore can be enjoyed be the entire family this Christmas season.

I hope you’ll give it a try, even if you haven’t liked eggnog in the past. You’ll have to check back and let me know. I am so curious if you have tried eggnog this way before now. I’d also like to know – What is you favorite eggnog preparation?
I really hope you enjoy eggnog a new way this Christmas season.
We drink ours with Sprite or 7-Up! Yum! I also made an eggnog custard pie a few days ago–delish!
Yes, I’ve had it with 7-Up too, which is definitely an upgrade from plain. I still love it with blended ice. 🙂
