Christian Easter Basket Idea for Teens
Teens can be tricky when it comes to Easter baskets. It’s fun to give gifts. While candy, eggs filled with money, or pastel nail polish might be fun options, I want to give you an idea to make your baskets more Christ-centered and meaningful.
What’s the main idea? I think you are going to love it! Check out these little mini-Jesus’. Of course, someone would want one little mini-Jesus with the proclamation, “Jesus loves you,” but why give an entire jar full?
The goal of these little Jesus’ is to leave these throughout the world for others to discover, enjoy, and embrace the message. You can plan a date with the kids to set these out in your own hometown. Place them on top of a ketchup bottle in the grocery store. Put one at the pick-up station at your local coffee shop. Leave one on the sink handle at school. The goal is to spread Jesus’ love in a sweet, happy way.
While I am sharing this as an Easter idea, I do want to report that I put these mini-figures in my children’s stocking this past Christmas, and it was definitely their favorite stocking stuffer, so it has already been teen-approved.

How to Make Jesus Mini-Figure Jars for Easter
Assembling your mason jars is very simple. I will provide a few quick steps.
- Print out the free “Jesus Loves You – Tell the Others” printable.
- Cut out the circle, leaving a slight border around the yellow. This does not need to be perfect. It will be covered by the twist-on portion of the lid.
- Fill your mason jar with mini-Jesus figures. A 6 oz mason jar holds 25 mini-Jesus figures.
- Put on the lid, centering the circle printable on the top of the round metal part.
- Screw the lid in place, holding your paper centered. Using double-stick tape to secure the paper is another good option.
- Cut ribbon or trim to size and tie a bow around the mason jar.
These mini-figure Jesus jars are the perfect addition to any teen, tween, or children’s Easter basket. They are also just fun gifts to give to teachers, friends, family, or pastors.
I hope this idea brings you as much joy as it brings to me. I also hope that you spread that joy throughout your community – in word, action, and character.
Blessings on your Easter celebrations. He is Risen!
