I saw this activity in the April 2012 edition of Family Fun Magazine. I loved the simple effect of it. This is one of those kids art activities that would be beautiful to frame, and it was so easy. We used a brown marker and silver paint to create this fabulous design. All you do is draw or let your kids draw their stem with little branches. Then, they press their finger on a stamp pad and make the little fuzzy parts. I drew the branches and helped guide Kenzie’s fingers to make the art seen above. Then, I let the girls do their own (results below). Kenzie wasn’t obeying at the table, so hers didn’t quiet get completed. Our rule is that if they aren’t following instructions, they have to be done. So, that was the case today.
I love this! I think this is the third time I have chosen one of your pics to click on over at Homework. I think I must like what you do! 🙂
What a compliment! I hope you stop in more often. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the feature, Mandy. I really appreciate it and have linked back to you. Hope you’re having a great week.
How sweet! I saw your feature @ sugar bee. I wonder if I could get my 5 month old to hold her finger still long enough… 😉 We’ll see!
I bet you could make it happen. I’d love to see it if you do. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
