This is a really simple activity that you can do with your kids to help with reading or spelling. We’ve all done word scrambles. I enjoy them. In this game, I found out my oldest does too. I took the flash cards that we had and would lay a scrambled word in front of them. As I set down the letters, I’d have Kenzie working on her letters and sounds. Then, Abby would go to work unscrambling them to try and guess the word. Some words, like the one pictured above, have two ways it could unscramble. I would say, “That’s a word, but it’s not the one I was thinking.” She could continue going until she found the other.
