Here are some of the silly pancakes we did today as well as some we did on our “Fun with Food” day. The pancake design options are endless. I took requests from the kids and did the best I could with their suggestions. The kids were delighted as they saw their ideas come to life. I imagine my kids will have fun creating these as they get a little bit older too. If you are having a hard time identifying the ones I created, I made a fish, bunny, truck, monkey, butterfly, rocket ship, frog and my mom’s traditional smiley face pancake. What are some ideas that you create? I hope you all try this fun activity with your kids.
I always make my absolute favorite fluffy pancakes when doing these. You will not be disappointed with this recipe. My friend said she is on here at least 2 times a week for the recipe because her kids insist on this recipe. Ever since making this recipe, we haven’t swayed either.
Post Update:
I was given a pancake writer squeeze bottle for Christmas. I found an affiliate link, and at the time I’m writing this, it only costs $6.19 as an add on item! My kids are enjoying making silly pancakes with me now.
More Pancake Fun
So fun!
Thank you!
How adorable! I use the “shape makers” to help me create fun pancakes or sandwiches-wow, you craft them by hand! That is awesome! Would love for you to share this with us at Kids in the Kitchen, Tuesday linky:http://younglivingoillady.com/home/kids-in-the-kitchen-link-up-week-16/
We welcome you anytime! Blessings, Carrie @younglivingoillady.com
You guys are really creative.. I would have most of the batter on the stove if I tried these. Thanks for sharing them on foodie friday.
WOWWWW sooooooo creative of you
I’m sure you had fun making these as it definitely shows 🙂
I love these
These are ace I would like a go
These are great please tell me how to make them
I made them by putting the batter into a pastry bag, but you could use a ziplock back with a corner snipped off. I hope that is helpful!
