You may have seen the other day that we did writing with blocks. It went so well, that I decided to take it to the next level – writing with shaving cream. This is a really easy activity. We had leftover shaving cream from when we did our shaving cream bath paint.
All we did was go outside and spread shaving cream all over their little table. That was fun in and of itself.
Then, I would just tell them the letters I wanted them to try and make. If your kids aren’t old enough to do letters, just let them play and make designs. So fun.
This was always one of my favorite activities as a kid! I’m curious, did you find your 18 month old eating the shaving cream? My daughter is still at the age where she puts anything and everything in her mouth. I stumbled upon your blog via your rainbow cake and LOVE it. Your blog is fantastic!
Corban wasn’t too interested in putting it in his mouth, but he hasn’t been doing that as much lately. He’s also pretty good at understanding, and so I made sure to tell him not to, and I was right there. Thanks so much for commenting. I’m glad you found me.
I love this idea!! So fun and cheap! I might have to try this with the little ones I babysit! ..Until I have my own! 🙂
