The final way I decided to teach the concept of thoroughness is through coloring. Abby is getting to the stage of being able to color well and thoroughly. She doesn’t always choose to do so. She alternates from being careful and doing beautiful work to wanting to rush and scribble. I thought using our word of the week to talk about the beauty that can come from careful, thorough and complete work. I always love coloring with my kids anyway, so this was fun for me too.
