“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
– Romans 12:10
I truly had no idea what I was going to do for availability today. I have no idea what I’m going to do this week. However, I was lucky enough to have an opportunity knock on my door. I have a friend at church that I have gotten to know through Bible Study. I’ve always wanted to have her over. Good intentions, but sometimes I let life get too busy. She dropped by today to drop off some school supplies for the service project we are doing. We had other things we were going to do today – errands and stuff. My house was a mess…shocking, but I knew what our word of the week was, and this was a great opportunity to connect with someone I’ve been wanted to connect with. So, we invited them to stay. We had a great play date, and we all had lunch together. I hope God continues to provide opportunities to be available the rest of the week. It was a blessing to us to have them over.
