This was actually Abigail’s homework for kindergarten. The assignment was to go on a shape walk throughout the house and find objects that represented a circle, square, rhombus, triangle, and rectangle. It reminded me of our recent letter sound search. Abby had a lot of fun with it, so I thought I’d pass the idea along to you. You’ll notice the fun rhombus (pictured below) Abby found by herself. There was a reflection of the light on the ground. The other items she found included a doll’s head, a plate, a block, cereal box, book, IPhone, sail on a boat (in a book), bottom of chair, criss cross on camping chair and a ball.
