Today I had the privilege of speaking at our local MOPS program. It was a big honor to be able to share my thoughts on becoming an intentional mom. If you would like to see some of what I said, please check out the “parenting tip” section for today. The craft I am giving you is actually the one they presented at MOPS. It is a sensory bottle. It was easy and my kids love to have this to play with. It’s pretty relaxing actually.
First you drink about 1/3 of the water out of your bottle. Then, you drop one or two drops of food coloring into the bottle.
The next thing you do is use a funnel to dump fun things into the bottle. They had glass beads, shells, buttons, rocks, glitter, sequins, and sand. It looked like all things you could purchase at the Dollar Store.
The final step is to fill it almost to the top with vegetable oil. Then, to assure the bottle stays shut, you hot glue the top around the edge.
Thank you, MOPS, for inviting me in and giving me a blog post too!
