I am always asked to bring the rolls. Why? This recipe. If I receive compliments about my cooking, you’ll often hear me say, “I’m not a good cook. I just have a lot of good recipes.” I went to a garage sale once and bought a $10 bread machine. This recipe comes from the cookbook that came with it. It has been my roll recipe ever since. These will be served on Thanksgiving day.
Dinner Rolls (makes 15)
2. Grease cookie sheet or use a non-stick sheet. Divide dough into 15 pieces (small handfuls). Shape each piece into a ball. I roll it out and tie it in a knot. It’s just how I have always done it, so take your pick. Place 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Brush with butter. Cover; let rise 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size.
3. Heat oven to 375. Bake 9-12 minutes or until golden brown.
I just made these for the first time, awesome & very easy. Beautiful dough, wonderful flavor.
I’m so glad you loved these. They are definitely our favorite and my “go to” recipe. Thanks for trying it out and commenting.
