There are so many reasons to give thanks to God. Today, I wanted to look at scripture that would help encourage my kids to learn how to thank God for all the blessings in our lives. I made a printable for you so it would be really easy for you to play this thankfulness game too. The printable contains the letters that make up “thanks” with a verse in each letter. All you do is print it out, cut up the letters and then hide them around the room. When a letter is found by one of your kids, freeze the game and read the verse. Kids continue on the search until all the thanks verses are found. The final step is to have them unscramble the letters to try and spell a word. The verses obviously give a major clue. The kids absolutely loved playing this game. They wanted to take turns hiding and finding the letters again and again.
