Since I am on vacation this week, I have some fillers. These include some activities I did with my kids before I left, parties we have done in the past, and I have had a couple people say they want to see more cakes, so I thought today I’d address that request. Here is a bouncy house cake I did for my niece’s birthday. My husband made the structure for me. It was basically a square piece of thin wood on the bottom, 4 wooden dowels screwed to the corners and then a square piece of wood on the top. Looked like a hollow cube with a base and top. The bottom here is filled with cake. The bouncy top is Rice Crispy treats caved out. The roof is also rice crispy treats. The whole thing is covered in fondant. The netting is royal icing. I love making cakes for my niece. She loves cake, and she probably gets more excited than anyone I know.
Thank you so much for the kind words that you posted on my blog! I absolutely LOVE this cake, it’s so creative! I am now following your blog- I hope you will follow mine too. I look forward to seeing your future creations 🙂
