Not only is it not always affordable to people to buy a yard sprinkler, but it is also not always convenient. Your kids might want to get a refreshing break immediately, but you can’t find the sprinkler or the one from last summer broke. If you want an up-cycle solution for a yard, you need to check out this DIY yard sprinkler. It’s a summer hack for your kids or your yard that is super easy and free!

DIY Yard Sprinkler - Up-cyle Summer Hack

I recently went to go visit my sister to help her pack up her house to move and get it ready to put on the market. I adore my sister, and it was really fun to visit her, her husband and all of my nieces and nephews. I want to share a couple pictures from our trip to give a glimpse into our family life. We were so busy packing that I didn’t get many pictures.

While visiting, we also were able to go see their new home since they are actually buying their friend’s home. While looking at the house, we went in the back yard to check out that space. What did I find? I found a really clever DIY yard sprinkler. What do you need? All you need is a hose, some duct tape and an empty and clean nail polish remover container. I am sure there are many similar type of containers you could use, but this particular one was made from a nail polish container and seemed to be a good fit for the size of the connecting parts.

All you do is take the end of the house and duct tape it to the end of a nail polish remover container?

I think this is fabulous, but if it’s too ghetto for you, I found some other fun sprinkler ideas on Amazon.
