My amazing husband has mad computer skills and gets credit for most the the technical side of my blog. He created this ice cream cone printable for your use for the hats and the balloon cones.
Place Card or Label Card Printable for Ice Cream Birthday Party
I gave him a picture of the invitations, and he modified it to make you a printable so that you can make your own cards to put in front of toppings.
I found three sheets for $3.99 each. That makes this a $12 backdrop. I cut them into 12 inch strips, and I sewed them together. It wasn’t hard at all…trust me, my sewing skills are minimal. You have yourself a wonderful backdrop for any theme if you can find the right sheets. Don’t want to sew? You could also use plastic table cloths from the dollar store like we did for our rainbow birthday party.
Make Your Own Pin the Tail on the… Game
Love the backdrop idea!
Thanks so much!
Love, Love, Love all these ideas! So cute and fun for your little birthday girl. I wish we lived closer we could help each other plan bday parties! 🙂

Hi, love your printable cones. are they still available? i tried downloading but the link is disabled. help!
Yes – I have had some issues with Dropbox disabling my links recently, and I need to go back and fix them all. This should work: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s8phzh3m6syc0wd/Printable%20Party%20Hat%20Pattern2.pdf – I’ll add that to the post too. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Love the printable cards! Are they still available? That link didn’t work as well. Thanks!
Thanks for letting me know. I’m sorry about that. Dropbox has been giving me problems. I updated the link, but here is the link for that hat: https://meaningfulmama.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Printable-Party-Hat-Pattern.pdf and here is the link for the labels: https://meaningfulmama.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Printable-Ice-Cream-Toppings-Labels.pdf I hope that helps. Have a fun party!
I salute you for being such an awesome mom! I’ve red all your DIY parties and its all amazing. I love this diy post so much because I’m a huge fan of ice creams the photo booth signs are the best!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed the ideas. 🙂 I appreciate your comments.
I was able to download your labels, but I can’t type my toppings on it.
Yes, it’s in the form of a PDF, so it can’t be altered. I was thinking people could write other their toppings on it rather than have them typed. That said, I just talked to my husband (the real tech guy), and he said there are some text annotation tools in Adobe reader where you could add text. I also think it would work to save it as an image, insert it into a Word document and then add a text box on the top. I hope that helps!
My penmanship is not nice enough. I tried signing up for adobe reader and it sent me an e-mail to click on the link to verify my e-mail address and it didn’t work, so I copy and pasted the link and it still didn’t work. I then had them send me a new one and that didn’t work.I tried to save it as an image to paste it into word, but it won’t let me save the image either. Thank you for trying.

I’m so sorry. I’m going to wait until my husband gets home and try and figure it out with him. That would be good to know. Sorry it’s not easier. Sounds like it has been a headache.
Thank you for all of your help!
