This week I get to bring you a fun giveaway. I recently had the opportunity to go to a preview blogging event and then evening grand opening premier party at the The Container Store. It was fun to tour the store and hear about the history of this company. I was motivated and making a wish list as I was walking around. I was impressed by the variety and quality of products. They have 300 food storage solutions, 750 organization options for office products, 45 types of laundry hampers, 350 organized travel products, 200 different hangers, and the list goes on. The Container Store has been going strong for 35 years. I’m impressed that each full-time salesperson receives more than 263 hours of training in the first year (as compared to the retail industry average of 7-10 hours). Therefore, when you walk into the store and give a specific need, they’ll be able to point you in the right direction, even if it wasn’t in the section you originally would imagine.
