Thanks for the Liebster Blog Award

I was recently presented with a Liebster (German for favorite) award by Snickety Things . I had never heard of it before so I had to do a little more research. I discovered it is an award other bloggers give to up and coming blogs with fewer than 200 followers. I felt honored since I have only been doing this blog for a couple months.

When you get the Liebster Blog award you can pass it along, so this is what I am doing. There are five rules for passing along the Liebster.

2) Link back to their blog. (Done above, click through, she has some great stuff)

3) Put the award on your blog. (On Sidebar)

4) Present the award to 3-5 blogs with less that 200 followers. (See list below)

5) Leave a comment for them so they will know you recognized them. (Done)

1. Teaching my Blessings I am a daughter of the King, wife to an amazing man, Mommy to my 2 Blessings, former teacher now SAHM, and a friend to many. I love my family and friends. I enjoy writing about the everyday happenings of our God given family. I love my morning coffee, praise and worship music, my Bible and journal, the color pink and nap time! 2. Pettiskirts and Mudpies I am a Lucky Mother of 5, and wife to the most amazing man ever! I Love life! It is too short and too fun to not enjoy every minute. Especially with children in the picture. They grow up fast and every stage is exciting. I blog about all the things I love! Mostly, our home school adventures, family parties, holidays, travels, activities, crafts, marriage, parenting, and sometimes just a random rambling from me! I hope you’ll visit back often! 4. Train Up a Child

I am a stay at home mom to four young boys. We work hard, play hard, laugh hard and crash hard at night. Our life is a bit chaotic at times, but I do my best to keep it as organized as possible.

It is my desire to be a Proverbs 31 woman. I continue to work towards that goal each day. I am thankful that I am saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), because on my own I would fail. Instead of livining in defeat I am blessed to be called a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

I met my amazing husband Michael in San Diego where I was born and raised. We are blessed to call this beautiful place home. We got to know one another singing together on the worship team at our church, and we enjoy serving the Lord together.

My favorite indulgences are Starbucks and pedicures with my best friend. May God bless the man who invented Starbucks drive thrus, because getting four kids out of carseats is quite the task! (I’d probably still do it for their coffee…)

I have 2 young children, my son is 4 years old and my daughter is 15 months. I am a busy working mom with a passion for Education.
