As my daughter’s sixth birthday approached, I wanted to look for fun food ideas that represented the butterfly theme well. It’s tempting, at birthdays, to do all cookies, candies and cakes because they are fun in color and appealing to kids. However, I always want to find healthier ways to represent the theme, and I did that with the Tree Top butterfly apple sauce pouches I created. I made a printable so you could create them too.
With spring here, I want to encourage you to embrace what nature has to offer and get outside to spend quality time with your kids. Tree Top pouches are an easy and healthy snack to grab as you are running out the door to spend time in the sun with your kids. These butterfly pouches not only were great for our butterfly party or snacks on the go, but I want the visual butterfly reminder of the “Raising Good Apples” campaign. In effort to bring awareness to “Raising Good Apples,” Tree Top is partnering with the National Gardening Associations KidsGardening.org to help educate kids on gardening. For every box of Tree Top Apple Sauce Pouches purchased through 5/31 Tree Top will donate $1 to help KidsGardening.org to help build and grow youth gardens.
The Tree Top pouches I bought at Safeway were a great hit at the party. They were a mess free, tasty and convenient option for even our smallest guest. Tree Top apple sauce is made with 100% USA grown apples and local ingredients. Of course, the kids don’t care about all that. They just love the taste and the easy squeeze packaging. Stick a butterfly on the front and it becomes even more exciting.
Located in the heart of Washington’s apple country, Tree Top is a grower-owned co-op, deeply rooted in the communities where we work and live. For more than 50 years, Tree Top has been a trusted brand dedicated to delivering top-quality products and premium ingredients such as juices, smoothies and sauces.
