Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and I want to start giving you some ideas that you can do with our own kids. We had a lot of fun with this one. It is not only a fun and easy craft, but it provides you with a game to play afterward. Tic-Tac-Toe is such a simple game to help kids begin to think about strategy.
The first thing I did was hot glue the tic-tac-toe boards together by attaching 4 popsicle sticks as seen above.
The girls then painted their popsicle sticks. I let them choose between red, purple and pink paint.
Once the paint dried, it was time to decorate. We had a few sticker heart options for decorating their boards on hand. I’m sure you can find options at a dollar store. If you don’t want to head out or spend money, let them cut out paper hearts or use pens to draw some onto the sticks.
Now on to the best part – playing the game. I found these little glass hearts at Michael’s. You could paint hearts on rocks, cut out paper hearts or find a similar inexpensive option.
Super cute! Pinned!!

So beautiful! I love how it is a craft and a game in one. You could even make a little kit for your kids to give out as gifts. Thanks for sharing this at Mom’s Library. Pinned!
We did this craft for our girl scout troop and they loved it. Thanks so much for sharing.
So cool. I love hearing stuff like that!
