“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
Today, we focused on our verse. Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love, but did you know John 3:16 could be positioned in such a way to spell out “Valentine?” This “For God So Loved the World Valentine Craft” helps our kids have fun while working on memorizing the scripture of the week.

How to Make For God So Loved the World Valentine Craft
We talked about the meaning of this verse. We also read a book about St. Valentine and the history of how Valentine’s Day was started. Loving well can make a huge difference in the world, and we discussed how that was possible. Then, we focused on making the craft. The kids worked on sticking the v-a-l-e-n-t-i-n-e stickers straight down the page. I then came along and wrote in the other letters as shown. Older kids can do this on their own. Adding heart stickers for decoration is another way to get kids involved.
