As we are heading into Thanksgiving, I wanted to provide you with this 1 Thessalonians 5:18 coloring sheet about thankfulness. Think kids’ table! Of course, this can be used any time of year. Being grateful is a trait to constantly work on as we fight off discontentment. We want to teach our kids to do the same.
This activity is part of my character development series. The trait we are obviously focusing on this week is thankfulness. There are loads of lessons and activities focused on this trait under my thankfulness tab. This is one of 52 words we work on throughout the year.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Coloring Sheet about Thankfulness
I know this is “adult coloring book” style, but I believe it is good for people of all ages. Toddlers are going to scribble all over it, but they’ll do that with any coloring sheet. I find that my kids, age 6, 8 and 10, prefer adult style coloring sheets. These are super relaxing as a grown-up also.
We all can benefit from working on this scripture – through memorization, meditation and focused coloring.
I have a Thanksgiving kids’ table in the works, and this will definitely be a part of it. To have a place for the kids to do something low key while they are waiting for the feast to be served is enjoyable for both the kids and the adults.
For coloring, I love my Prisma Colored Pencils. I love their vibrancy and ability to shade. They are a bit softer in texture, but not too soft. Thin markers, crayons or gel pens are other fun options.
