Crafting with preschoolers can feel overwhelming if you don’t have your ducks in a row. Today I wanted to bring you some very practical tips for making this time more enjoyable for you and for your kids. I am a guest blogger at AWANA ‘s blog “Life Threads” and through that partnership, today I bring you 20 Tips for Crafting with Preschoolers. In addition, I have been doing an AWANA Cubbies craft series on my site. If you want to see more, please hover over the craft tab and you will find craft ideas for the AWANA Cubbies Bear Hugs. I’m in the process of posting more ideas to the series so you will find additional crafts to come under this tab. When I reached out to AWANA, they asked me if I would be willing to do a post for their blog about crafting with preschoolers. I love the AWANA organization, and I liked that theme. I decided it would be fun to work with them to bring this post to their readers and my own.
I really hope this post equips you to feel like you are ready and willing to tackle crafts with your own kids. Even if you don’t consider yourself “crafty,” I try and really make craft ideas accessible at Meaningful Mama with full tutorials. Sure, there will be more involved crafts, but you will also find some simple crafts. I will provide links right here in this post to some more of my simple crafts. However, for the post with Tips for Crafting with Preschoolers, I encourage you to head on over to the AWANA blog through two links (they broke it up into two posts).
