This week has been all about courage. Today it was an easy day for me and something that the kids always enjoy – a movie. I have two pictured here. Today, they actually watched the Hermie & Friends “Webster the Scaredy Spider
.” The story is about a spider that is scared of everything, but because he is a spider all the other bugs are afraid of him. These Max Lucado videos always brings in the voice of God, and in this one God was telling everyone that they need not fear but just turn to Him. I was thinking another VeggieTales movie that would be great for this week is the one about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – “Rack, Shack & Benny.” It would go along well with our craft from yesterday. Kids relate to movies, and these movies can, in a fun way, support the lessons you are trying to teach.
