I would love to see my kids become leaders. Something that make a good leader is knowing how to follow. Being able to follow takes flexibility. Today we talked about all of that. Then, we had a lot of fun together playing “Follow the Leader.” Corban even caught the concept right away, and they had fun taking turns being the leader and follower. We sang the song “Following the Leader,” from “Peter Pan.” The words are “Following the leader, the leader the leader. Following the leader where ever he may go.” I change the words to “Following the leader, the leader, the leader. Following the leader as long as she does good.” I want my kids to learn to follow the leader as long as the leader is doing the right thing. Being able to adapt to different people, thoughts and styles will benefit my children as they travel through life.
