Abigail’s 5th Birthday is coming out, and we needed to get the invitations out. She decided she wanted to do an ice cream party, so that’s our theme. These invitations were pretty easy to make. The girls were able to help with almost all of it. Here’s how we made them:
The first thing I did was cut a piece of paper to the size of our envelope. These are the last of our wedding invitation envelopes, if you can believe it.
Next, I cut out triangles to make the ice cream cone.
The girls were in charge of punching out the ice cream cirlces.
I then cut out random squiggly lines to go at the bottom of the ice cream scoop.
After preparing everything to glue down, I drew a line down the center of the invitation for a guideline of where to glue.
Writing the text came next.
I then made a little dot up the sides of the paper to establish where I wanted my little polka dots.
The final thing is to print out the details on your ice cream colored paper and attach it to the back. Excited for the big event!
