Attentiveness
“We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.” – Hebrews 2:1
We have now adopted “I Will” statements for our character development series. We made this cute board to highlight the focus phrases. I got the idea for “I Will” Statements from “Character First,” a character based curriculum. Although I haven’t used a lot of their content, I wanted to give them credit for this idea. Our four phrases this week are:
1. I will make eye contact with people who are speaking to me.
2. I will sit or stand in one place while listening.
3. I will pay attention.
4. I will ask questions.
