Submissiveness
“Submit to one another out of reverence to Christ.” – Ephesians 5:21
We have played “Mother, May I?” before, but they have a lot of fun with it, and I think it’s a great game to learn about submitting to the will of another. Of course you want the person calling to say, “Yes, you may,” when you ask. However, that’s not the game. It wouldn’t be a game without the willingness to submit. After playing I did a really brief tie in to the character word of the week. I would love for you to look back at post 1, post 2 and post 3 about submissiveness to catch up on why we still want to teach this concept to our kids.
