“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” – Colossians 3:15
We want our kids to learn to be grateful for a variety of the people in their lives. Teachers deserve our appreciation because of their hard work and commitment to the education of our kids. I want to give you a simple teach appreciation idea that you can do for the lovely teacher in your own life. This is not just a gift to buy, but it is a way that kids can share their own creativity and art in the process of giving.
You don’t need to wait until Teacher Appreciation Week to show appreciation to your teachers. Here’s a cute idea to show your appreciation at any time.
All I did was take an empty coffee cup and wrote “Thanks A Latte” on the side. Then, Abigail decorated it. We stuck our free drink coupon inside. You could also do a Starbuck’s card. I also stuck in a note saying, “It has been a great first couple of weeks. We appreciate all you do.” Letting kids decorate the cup gives then ownership over this simple teacher appreciation idea.
