We love smoothies around here. You may have seen my post about doing smoothies to get nutrients into your kids. I hope you also found my recipe for the avocado banana smoothie. It’s a favorite. Yesterday, I made smoothies for lunch, but I had made too much. I did not want to waste the extras, and so I landed on my new favorite idea. We turned them into Popsicles. It was perfect. No waste and a treat that the kids think is fun and delicious, but it’s packed full of protein, banana, spinach, carrots, and strawberries. Can’t go wrong there! From now on, I’m collecting any extra smoothie and doing Popsicles.
