This was actually used as a motivation technique for cleaning their room without any help or any nagging. I said if they can get it clean all on their own (it was a huge mess), then we’d have a nail parlor where I could do their nails and toes. I’d even let them do mine. I got the idea to let them paint mine from a picture I saw a friend post on Facebook of her special time with her daughter. I tell ya – It was a huge motivator for Abby. She had never painted nails before. Abby ended up taking the reins and doing the picking up all on her own. She did a fabulous job. Kenzie missed out on the fun because she didn’t want to help.
