I came up with this idea when I saw my daughter gnawing at her tortilla creating holes all over it. This Christmas treat was born at that moment. I knew playing with your food had its benefits.

The beauty of this Christmas snack is that you probably have all of the materials you need in your pantry already. It takes minutes to do, but the child’s enjoyment of the activity is high. Sounds like a simple win to me.
Ingredients Needed to Make these Tortilla Snowflakes with Cinnamon and Sugar
- Tortillas (these can be raw like the Costco ones or already cooked like the Mission style)
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
How to Make Tortilla Snowflakes
- Fold the tortilla in half three times to get a wedge shape.
- Cut a design into your tortilla.
- Melt butter on a griddle, and cook your tortilla, flipping once.
- Sprinkle the snowflake tortilla with cinnamon and sugar.
