Abby has been learning the plan —–>act—–>reflect strategy in her class. I love that they are teaching her these kinds of skills for problem solving. I thought it would be great to re-emphasize this concept as we are talking about efficiency. To be most efficient, it is important to learn to create a plan, act on that plan and then reflect on what worked, didn’t work and what you could do better. By constantly using this strategy, it would be challenging to not learn to be more efficient in our actions. We talked about how this concept she’s learning at school relates to efficiency. Today I made a printable that you can print out and have your kids color. I had Kenzie just color and Abby try and draw a picture of someone making a plan, acting and reflecting on how it all went.
Efficiency
