Who doesn’t love peanut butter blossoms? They are such popular cookies, so you probably have your own recipe. This is my mom’s recipe that I’ve been eating since I was a kid. It turns out every time and is delicious. I love the mini kisses Hershey is putting out now. They’re all unwrapped too. We made these cookies for church this week.
Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1/8 cup more for rolling onto balls
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 3/4 cup flour
Hershey Kisses – Unwrapped (I used the mini Hershey kisses above)
Combine all ingredients except kisses. Roll dough into smaller round balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and bake on 375 for 10-12 minutes. Top each cookie immediately with one large Hershey Kiss or three mini ones. Press down firmly so cookie cracks around edge. Let cool.
