“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” – Proverbs 16:24
We have now adopted “I Will” statements for our character development series. We made this cute board to highlight the focus phrases. I got the idea for “I Will” Statements from “Character First,” a character based curriculum. Although I haven’t used a lot of their content, I wanted to give them credit for this idea. Our four phrases this week are:
1. I will make sweet sounds with my voice. (We talked about how that eliminates whining, crying, complaining, mean words, etc.)
2. I will smile.
3. I will watch my facial expressions.
4. I will start with my heart attitude.
