Free Printable New Year’s Eve Hats
These DIY New Year’s Eve hats are so easy to make. The hats are sized for kids. They looked a bit small on my 12 year old son, so I would say this is a good activity for kids up to age 10.
Coloring ability will vary, but the only thing that limits your design is imagination. Imagine these filled with glitter, feathers, sequins, or pipe cleaners. There are so many different things you could glue to these hats to bring the extra New Year’s bling.

How to Make these New Year’s Eve Party Hats
- Print out your free printable party hats onto heavy stock paper.
- Color and decorate your party hats. These can be colored with crayons, markers, or colored pencils. Kids will love adding glitter, sequins, feathers, pipe cleaners, colored pipe cleaners, or any other idea you can imagine.
- Cut out your party hats.
- Make your papers into a hat. I like using tape because staples can get caught in hair. Some will be cone-shaped, so you simply bend it into a cone and tape it in place. Others will be more of a headband hat. The long portion will be taped to the Happy New Year front portion.
Enjoy your New Year’s Eve, no matter what it holds. It’s fun to find little ways to celebrate new beginnings with your family.
