Golden Birthday Party
I love to share fun party themes. While I host plenty of my own parties, I’m also blessed to have a talented sister-in-law who can share her talents here. This golden birthday party theme celebrated three different birthdays all at the same time.
What is a golden birthday? A golden birthday occurs when you turn the same age as the day of the month you were born. For example, if you were born on April 2nd, your golden birthday would be when you turned 2. If you were born on February 26th, your golden birthday would be when you turned 26.
For this birthday party, we were celebrating 2 golden birthdays and my husband’s dad, who is in his golden years.

Table Setting for Golden Birthday Party
You can see the table setting, which is pretty straightforward, so I won’t use too many words to describe it. I love the golden suns she made as placecard holders. It was a gold-on-gold Critcut extravanganza to create the sunshine placecards.

It was a one-year-old golden birthday for our littlest guest of honor, so you get to see the adorable way the high chair was decorated with gold, yellow, and white ribbons, a homemade one-year-old birthday hat, and an adorable smash cake, all adorned in sunshines.

Food Ideas for a Golden Birthday Party

Three different birthday people meant there were three different birthday desserts, appealing to their favorites. What an amazingly thoughtful hostess. These cute suns acknowledged the two birthday girls and the one birthday man.
While I didn’t take pictures of the food served, I can provide a picture from a sunshine birthday I did for my daughter. It’s a collection of yellow food ideas that might be helpful for this golden birthday theme.
Below you will find mac-and-cheese bites served in yellow cupcake liners, corn on a stick, pineapple served with lemon yogurt, and a ombre yellow cake.

As always, I hope the resources I provide make your life easier as your plan your own birthday celebrations.
