As parents, I think we all hope our kids will stay on track. We want the best for them. We want to see them make wise decisions that keep them connected to family, friends and to God. I also know it is a struggle to stay on track myself. I might know what is best, but my sinful nature keeps me from making the right choices. I am so thankful for the grace of God for those times I stray. I want to teach my kids about His forgiveness, grace and open arms for His children. That said, I also want to teach them how to take the sometimes harder path of righteousness. This stay on track Bible craft focuses on the Bible verse Isaiah 30:21.
Isaiah 30:21 says “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'” I love how the Lord gently tugs at our hearts and minds. We know what is good and right and have a choice to make. His soft or sometimes direct leading helps us make decisions that stay in God’s will, which is exactly the place we’d like to be. It’s exactly the place we want our kids to be too.
This Bible craft can be done in your own home or would be easy to do with kids at Sunday School, in private schools, AWANA or Vacation Bible School.

How to Make Stay on Track Bible Craft
This is a simple craft to complete. Take two pipe cleaners, cut to fit the five popsicle sticks. Lay them parallel to each other. Hot glue the popsicle sticks to the pipe cleaners. This can be prepped beforehand for the kids in your care. If you want the children to do this on their own, you can also use glue dots, which work well and adhere quickly. Kids can add stickers to add the words “Stay on Track” with their name on the top track and Isaiah 30:21 on the bottom. This can also be written in Sharpie to cut back on costs. This little train track becomes a reminder of what is best for their lives.
