My bookshelf has been a sad, sad sight. It has felt cluttered and unorganized. I know what a beautiful bookshelf should look like, but with small kids around I have neglected design. Today I bring you my own tips for decorating and organizing a bookshelf. With kids’ things taking over, I have let beauty elude me for some time. I have had things falling over, ugly binders and other storage uses that may be decent for storage but are painful to the eye. I teamed up with Wayfair to bring you tips today for decorating and organizing a bookshelf. I was very excited when they asked me to guest post for them. With the bookshelf, I wanted to keep function but make it all a bit more appealing. I added decorative elements and, with a little creativity, cleaning out and shifting of the things we own, have been able to make the bookshelf more pleasing to look at. I feel like I have finally created anise balance of design and function. I have added some “tricks of the trade” to help aid you on your own journey in making your home express you more clearly. Please head on over to my post on Wayfair to see all of my tips and the before and after pictures.
