- 6 Small Stones – I liked having clean and smooth ones, but these can also be collected from the yard. One of the stones should be slightly larger than the other.
- Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Paper Plate (to use as paint pallet)
- Sharpie

How to Do this Hands-On David and Goliath Bible Lesson
- Paint your rocks all different colors, and allow to dry.
- Once dry, use a Sharpie to write the letters D-A-V-I-D on your smallest stones. The sixth stone should be slightly larger and should have a G written on it.
- Next, read the lesson of David and Goliath. Straight from the Bible is great (1 Samuel 17), but I also absolutely love the “Jesus Storybook Bible” for teaching kids. In fact, I think all believers should read it.
- Now that the craft component is done, you can begin playing the game. The goal is to slide the smaller rocks into the larger rock to knock it off the table. Kids take turns slinging their small rocks at Goliath until victory is found. Remind them that victory is found when we partner with the Lord.
