I got this recipe by combining my favorite elements from two favorite breakfast casserole recipes I was given when I was given the fabulous personalized recipe box at my wedding showers.

When people say something like “cube the bread,” I like to know what that looks like. So, there ya go.
We had a friend over today, so I got some extra help with the casserole. It was obvious her mom likes to have her in the kitchen too.

Think I will make this for my next MOPS meeting. Looks yummy and who doesn’t like make ahead.
I tried this recipe when you first posted it and loved it! I came back today looking for it, as i wanted a make-ahead casserole for tomorrow. I didn’t have mushrooms, so I subbed tomatoes. 🙂 We’ll see how it turns out. Love your blog…I have been subscribed to your email list for about a year now, and I can’t tell you how many times I come here searching for one of the great ideas I have seen in the emails. Thanks for all you share!
Thanks so much. It is definitely a favorite for us that I make for most events that require a breakfast casserole. How did the tomatoes turn out? I’d love to hear about it. Thank you so much for being an email subscriber too. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be doing a newsletter as well, so I hope you enjoy receiving that! Thank you for your kind words and encouragement!
We made this for Christmas breakfast with the mushrooms included and it was AMAZING! I married my high school sweetheart and it reminded us of our favorite breakfast pizza the school used to make. Our daughter also loved it. It will definitely be our traditional Christmas morning casserole for years to come. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
Yay! Thank you so much for taking the time to add a rating. That helps other people find it. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Merry Christmas!
