Fourth of July Melted Pony Bead Decor
Fourth of July is around the corner. Do you love to decorate? This Fourth of July Melted Pony Bead Decor might be just what you are looking for – especially if you have kids who love to help. I know these projects might look intimidating, but they are actually really easy. What is fun about these 4th of July decorations is that your kids can know they had ownership over some of the decorating that took place in your home. Kids love to help. You’ll love this project too because it is basically a “no mess” craft project for kids. It will keep them busy sorting and dropping beads into containers but you won’t have a huge clean up…unless of course they accidentally drop the beads all over the floor. That didn’t happen this time with my kids, but you never know, right? Some people shy away from melting plastic in their home, but I have addressed this issue by giving instructions for how to do this craft on your outdoor grill to help keep fumes out of your home.
This is a post I wrote for Kids Activities Blog. I am now a contributor to this great blog, and I encourage you to head over to this post on that site to find the easy instructions for these DIY Fourth of July decorations using melted pony beads. You’ll also see that I added ideas to turn the melted pony bead discs into things your children can wear for the celebrations too. I hope you enjoy the post and are encouraged to make your own 4th of July party decor.
